Default old english oak dropside table

This old table used to be used as the kitchen bench and sink by my clients parents some 60 years ago a bit worse for wear but this is scrubbed up alright

A nice job. A good incentive for others to follow suit.

I was to tired to post these last night , I had to add two new boards to the middle of the table, I used hand picked american oak to match the english oak. It was close but not the same. What do you think ? I did not get to polish and finish this table as the client wanted to experiment and try finishing herself , but i think this was a real gem and enjoyed the experiance?
