Demolition of Concrete Deck-approach
Hi all
I have a 11cm thick slab deck 1.5 wX6m long supported on one side by the outer skin of the double brick wall of the house ( sits on a brick ledge ) and on the other by a 1 m high single brick piered wall.
It has to come down but as the concrete was poured against the brick wall and no bond breaker on the ledge holding it up, Im worried that demolition if not done properly is going to take some of the rear brick wall away as well as the slab.
Im sure this sort of thing has been done many times but would be very interested if any of the members have a suggested approach to minimise damage to brick wall its poured against as this is staying.
Thanks
Hole
