Dry rot in hardwood decking ????
I just bought a pack of 65mm spotted gum decking from the auctions and it states the pack has dry rot. Outside the obvious what does dry rot look like? A couple of boards I noticed are a whitish colour ( not sure if this is a feature of the grade) with a bit of green looks like staining. The boards look ok and solid.
Glock the timber has a sticker on it from East coast timber Grafton grade utility. The boards have chalk numbers on them 1-0. I take it its a grading mark, how are they graded as such.
