Downpipes on Pergola w/ 90mm posts
Hi,
We are currently putting guttering on our pergola and want to put a downpipe against one of the 90mm posts. We were planning on using http://www.stramit.com.au/ gear. They have rectangular downpipes in 75x50, and round in 75. However the issue is attaching the downpipes to the post using Strammit brackets.
With the rectangular bracket it comes to larger than 90mm. With the round bracket it wraps around the post, which is not the ideal look. I have been told I need to get standoff astrgals - but it seems these are custom made and not readily available??
What do most people do in attaching a downpipe to a 90mm for pergolas?) There must be an easier way
)
Thanks
Robert
