Default How to remove the rivets from an esky lid?

On my esky there is rivets to hold the flip up flip down lid on it.

They just look like standard rivets but they have three incisions along the inside of them that look like you could fit a tool into them to unscrew.

What sort of tool would this be?

Rivets are not made to "unscrew" - they are for permanent fixing of two objects or thin sheets together.

Tell us a little bit about yourself "Qld" as you seem to be asking strange questions-- just to get a response.

I suspect bull nose pliers or vice grips may get them 'unscrewed'.

Three incisions? These would have been fitted with a Trivetter and may be satisfactorily removed from the Esky lid with an Untrivetter provided they haven't become frozen from close contact to the ice in the Esky.
