Hoping a plumber or other knowledgable person can assist.

I'm preparing for a bathroom reno (1973 vintage house) and i'm blown away by the look of the Dorf Myriad Kofu shower set. Ultra modern.

I downloaded the specs from the Dorf website and it says it's not suitable for retro fitting but doesn't explain why. This also applies to the entire range (tap and basin sets) Can anyone advise why this is the case and is there anyway these sets can retro fitted as I want to replace the bath and vanity tap sets also?
