It works easily enough if you keep the attachment sharp, they recomend the scary sharp method, but we all know that you need waterstones, and a green crayon on an expensive strop to do it propery

You talked into it. I was just warming up. I mean, it was a confrontation as the forum stipulates.

Don't take me too seriously, I just love a stir. And I have had the last word as well.

    Default My say

Now, if I may without getting anyone in a dither, I would like to have my say on why I raised the subject.
The word standard is very pertinent to the question. I would hate to be rearing a teenager these days and having to rely on the standards of those that should set much better ones.
Where does a parent get examples to give their children - from the church clergy, not really. Do they look to the police, the politicians or even your practicing Christian that sees it as ok to cheat the ATO, the traffic laws, their neighbours or whatever. Do parents, that are struggling to keep up, even consider that their standards are the ones that their children should have.
In regards to teacher trust or teacher loyality, they are harassed every day by kids that do not have, nor seem to be expected to have, worthwhile standards of morality of honesty or common respect or decency, and this would lower the teachers standards, just to stay competitive.
    That is my opinion.
I am not a goody goody, nor a born again Christian, and I would not set my standards as an example to anyone. Thank you for listening to my opinion, and I do wander around the woodwork section thank you very much.

... and to make the mod that will make the dustbucket into a cyclone so that it will actually collect the crumbs.

My most humble apologies to both you and to Bob Thomas. I will not be found guilty again.
