Hi all

We are in the process of stripping out the old kitchen in our house.

The walls were lined with plywood paneling that had been glued to the masonry using some brown glue that had been liberally applied.

Just wondering what the quickest and easiest way to remove this glue residue would be? I'm guessing belt sander would be best but just wondering if anyone knows of an easier way.

I intend to paint the walls that aren't covered by splashback so want to remove as much trace as possible so that it doesn't show through the paint when done?

Any suggestions appreciated
