    Default Just wasted a good Sunday Afternoon

    Just wasted a perfectly good Sunday afternoon, gave my self a headache and got totally stressed glad this only happens once a year. what did I do?









    I did my tax return

    My wife did mine in 10 minutes . . . I earn $xxxxx, pay $xxxxx tax and can claim $xxx union fees and $xxx launder uniform and that's it. I always get $xxx back. Not much, but it beats the heck out of paying the ATO any extra.

    Kerry Packer had it correct when he said "Of course I am minimising my tax. And if anybody in this country doesn't minimise their tax, they want their heads read, because as a government, I can tell you you're not spending it that well that we should be donating extra!"

    etax. Refund goes into the bank in a week (cept last year when it was a bill). And you can understand most of it

    Mick, has it in one. Etax is simple to use and the money goes straight into my account.

    A little tip for those doing their own tax - The ATO allows you to claim $300 in total wthout receipts.

    So if you have a uniform/protective clothing $150 at D3 and various $150 at D5

    For the first time in years the planets were in the correct alignment. All group certs. were here in time, SMBO had a wonderful spread sheet done, and the accountant only neede about an hour and a bit with us.
