We are using eucalyptus wood for the face of a bank of drawers and would like to paint it (to match the rest of built-in closet). Are there any issues with painting this type of wood? I have tried to do an internet search on this topic but find that most eucalyptus wood furniture has been stained.

Oh, and just to let you know that even though i now live in Canada, I did grow up in Australia!
