moving into a new house soon, want to put security light out the front, what would you recommend, these movement detectors from bunnigns or similar with 2 spot lights attached or a clipsal infrascan with a light attached somewhere else?

i have one of these $19.95 things from bunnings on my current house with 2 spotties hanging out of it, seems like its getting less sensitive by the month, if the clipsal is better, would the same thing happen to that or not?
