Ecowood deck - unfinished and in the rain !
hi all, first post here, though i have been lurking for weeks whilst building my deck.
I've managed to get about 70% of a 12m x 5m eco wood deck (on OB hardwood subfloor) laid, but the heavens are about to open and i havent been able to weatherproof it.
Will this matter ? Or is it ok to have it soaked, and just start working on it again when its dried out ?
thanks heaps in advance !
cheers

hahah...My deck has been in progress for the past 2 months. Its almost done and ready for oil, its rianed about a hundred times...heavy rains too. Its fine. Just make sure before you oil it clean it with a karcher and some deck cleaner. Then give it an oil right away while its clean (after its dried out).
You'll be fine mate.
Cheers.
