    ok its got to me but how dose this site work i mean who owns it ( ? ) is it finaced by someone or a company ? what was it started as orginally, just a straight wood turning site ? think all the moderators do a good job and must take them hours to screen everything and they deserve a big pat on the back for it all

    but being a nosey person just curious about the history like how long has it been around ?

    been a member for a few years now and love it and a big thanks to everyone for all the heaps of helpful advice ive recieved from members

    love the way that its grown and the idea of having extra forums for other things but worry that it will lose its wood base one day as more forums form that dont really have much to do with woodwork

    if i didnt have to work and had broadband would spend a lot of time here but waiting for each forum to open on dail up can get a bit of a drag
