Golden Oak Stain
Morning Forum,
I currently have a dining table and wall unit done in Tassie oak which has been stained a lovely golden colour(have had these two pieces for ten years).I am nearing completion of a tassie oak hall stand and want to match the colour as near as possible.
Could someone give me a starting recipe for a golden type of colour on tassie oak,I have done the rounds of the commercial products and dont seem to be able to come up with a colour match.
Any help or ideas would be great.
Thank you.
Steve

Without pictures (and even then colours can be off) it is hard to say. Here is a link to the Minwax site showing their standard oil-based colours of wood stain. Are any of them close?
