Default Best finish for Syd Blue Gum

    Hi,
What clear finishes do people suggest to bring out the best of Sydney Blue Gum?

    Thanks

I've used 2-4 coats of Feast Watson Floorseal followed by Fine Buffing Oil.

    Comes up nicely.

    Cheers

I've used shellac, danish oil and orange oil on different blue gum projects with good results. The shellac ended up looking pretty awesome. Try a few different finishes on some cut-offs and it'll give you a good idea of how it'll respond.
Coffee, chocolate, women. Some things are better rich.

I have also used Danish Oil with good results - all depends on sanding & preparation.
