sealer yellowing
I have been using Sikaflex sealer along baths and showers recently, instead of the usual Selleys products. Now I have had several feedbacks from clients about yellowing of the sealant, four or five weeks after installation, for no apparent reason at all.
My question is has anybody else had this problem and what makes it happen? I thought I was using a quality product, but I am not so sure now, or am I using it the wrong way?

I had this problem on a job a few years back, and we never worked out what caused it.The strange thing was that it didn't happen to every joint in every bathroom.I don't know if maybe it was something the cleaner used.We cut it out and replaced it, and it didn't happen again.

I don't remember if we reused the same product, but it was a silicone rather than sikaflex.
