turpentine in eye

I was cleaning a paintbrush earlier and flicked turps in my eye.

I rinsed it with water, but it is still a little uncomfortable.

Is there anything else I should do?

A Bit late, but did you keep washing it for 20 Minutes;
that "seems" to be the Standard,
20Min is not long,
but when one is washing a part of their body which has been contaminated, 20 Minutes can seem like Half the morning.
I know,
I once washed a part of my body for 20 Minutes
and Yes,
it did come off:eek:

It was Caustic NaOH [Aq] on my Back from where I had brushed against some superstructure in an Bauxite refinery :mad: :mad:

My eye didn't fall out, thank god.
