Avoiding THOSE games
I put a new flash telly aerial sticky up thing on my roof yesty, got lotsa channels from SA and VIC now..... Question, which channels DON'T have the bluddy Conningwealth Games? I want to avoid the flamin' things as much as possible if possible cos they could possibly drive me potty! Any other tips, apart from self immolation, which may assist me in my attempt to avoid anything "Gamey" would also be very welcome.....

Wait until one of those brain dead dollyheads comes on the screen and then put a brick through the telly. That'll make ya feel better.

You blokes are all a bit harsh.
Have you seen a Teev programme for the current week?
Is there anything showing on any channel that could even come close to watching the 1500 (in any event) four thousand times?
Why are all events called "the 1500" anyway? Ever noticed that??
"I'm running in the 1500"
"Oh!"

They didn't have puddle ducks in the year 1500. However, a similar event was held and won buy a bald bugger with a funny birthmark on the back of his head. He was paddling a leather coracle, paddled like mad he did ... which you tend to do with a longboat of vikings on your tail

Now I'm depressed.
I'm supposed to be finishing the blasted things, and I just know I'm going to be sucked in to the tele to watch the 1500.

Rip the aerial down
or
channel surf ... thought you guys were good at it
or
post the remote to a friend overseas and ask for it to be returned ... by the time you get it back, the games should be over
or just go buy a flippin' TV guide
Cheers
