USB 1.1 pci card required
Hello to all,
A call of help to my brethren, I have need of a USB 1.1 pci card, not a modern one that is 2.0/1.1. I'm putting together an old system to dedicate to my MIDI keyboard in an attempt to learn to play the bleedin' thing See my thread #30 here
If anyone has one laying about that they do not need anymore, I would be extremely happy and would gladly work out a sale and postage etc.
Thanking you all, holding my breath:eek:

I possibly have one or two lying around.
A month ago I could definitely say "yes" but we recently had a hard-garbage pickup and I disposed of quite a few old systems, monitors and and a couple of large boxes of various cards.
I'll have a look around and get back to you.

Sorry mate, it looks like they've gone to the great trash-compactor in the sky.
I still have a couple of other boxes full of cards under a load of timber, but I'm fairly sure they're all old (E)ISA cards. I haven't gone through 'em in years, the only reason they weren't thrown out at the same time was the labour involved in moving the timber. But I'll get the apprentice to "restack that mess" tomorrow and see what can be seen...

Maybe. I had one in the cupboard here at work for about 99years & one of my troops took it home last week. He grizzled 'cos it was old & only 1.1 so I gave it to him.
We may be able to do a deal here.
If I get him a USB2 at cost & he'll swap it, it's yours for cost price on a 2 & the postage.
I'll pm you the price tomorrow.Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

I was right, the boxes were just old (E)ISA cards. At least the shop is a bit cleaner now.
