Ross
Chaps
Ross collapsed in his shed the Friday before last.
He suffered a stroke brought about by a burst blood vessel and blood on the brain.
He was taken to Westmead ICU and has been in the Stroke Recovery Unit. He's back under ICU care at the moment because he decided he could go for a bit of a walkabout, and well, fell.
He is stable and receiving the best of care.
When I visited today he is eating solids and whilst not fully lucid is aware of what is going on around him. He told me his shed is locked so I can't help myself to his timber!
His wife told me he has lost some feeling and mobility of his left side. Physio is expected to help in this regard.
And to think we were only discussing his transition to retirement on the Thursday, the day before.regards

howdy all
I visited Ross yesterday
He's home and a lot better since my last visit - doing physio regularly, both body and mind physio along with a bit of speech
for those worried he's getting his sons to do the bee keeping duties this weekend
I also gave him a get well card from the forum
