Knocked Off My Perch
Thanks to my son I am here instead of in hospital. Photos of the cracks
He spotted that my workshop draughtsman stool had two welds cracked yesterday I was on it at the time. Held together by about 14" either side.
Many of you know I use this about my shed one wrong move and
Yes welded up but the heat transfer blew the seal of the gas chamber lifted the sottl off the bench and almost sconed me.

Dear Sir,
I'm sorry to inform you that the warranty has expired on your chairs.
Also the company you bought it from has left town with no forwarding address.
Your faithfully.
A, Nonymouse
I know that the gas lift can be repaired, depends on whether it's economical to do so.Geoff

Dear Mr Anymouse
Being that its now over 3 years since I purchased these from you and I was informed they had a life time warranty (not sure if it was mine theirs or yours).
Geoff I am so glad I got them have done a fair share of lugging me about I think you saw it in action.
I will Book mark that site for the other one I think although if the steel blokes haven't snatched it off the verg yet I may just rescue it if cost effective. Thanks for the link.
Hows the fires hope you have a good stock of wood for winter.

A miss is as good as a mile, when you don't know how close it was but it still gives you a creepy feeling when you notice how close you were.

Thanks Greg if I had been a Cat it would have been a big cat with my own Pride of Lioness
Trying to get some rain down here too, I am told by an old dog over Perth way they seem to be getting plenty they are keeping it for themselves tho.
Besides if it rains up there you'll be stuck in for weeks.......bliss.

Glad you didn't come a cropper Ray. The problem is now when someone says "Don't move" your going to think 'Oh no, not another failed weld' but by then the eight hairy legs will have walked half way up your back.

NCArcherGlad you didn't come a cropper Ray. The problem is now when someone says "Don't move" your going to think 'Oh no, not another failed weld' but by then the eight hairy legs will have walked half way up your back.. Nope never it'll always be 8 legs and "where the bloody hell is it" a miracle could happen "these legs were made for running and thats just what they may do"
I just have to hope the rest of the body tags along for support
Update I have contacted Strut regas and fellow will be calling in to check if a replacement is possible, which means I can leave the other stool at OTGA should I ever require it out there.
