Hi

I'm about to remove some external stairs + door and block the whole opening with a stud frame + blue board.
The stairs go from the house to a slab in the garden, my main concern is how do I start from the slab on the ground ?
Can I just build a TP stud wall on the slab ? Won't thsi rot after some time ? Or should i first lay some bricks and them start the stud wall from that ?
