slippery deck
i laid a deck on my verandah some time ago, well ok, a long time ago - treated pine and havent as yet put anything on it. It is still in really good nic despite being au natural albeit somewhat stained and marked from the natural elements and kids. Thing is, now that it is raining, it is as slippery as buggery with what i assume is mossy type stuff. I was going to scrub it with bleach and hot water but someone said not to as it might effect the timber. Is this a no-no? i want to do something as i dont the missus sailing down the stairs in the darkened hours of the morning - i'd have to cook my own dinner.

I've washed decks down with white king solution and had no damage, but it gets rid of the moss fast.

If you don't have water restrictions, a high pressure water cleaner may be an option.
