    Default AFL Grand Final Entertainment

    What is it with the AFL and lame pre game and half time entertainment?

    Only two items in and I am ready to turn off .....

    Why go to all of the bother putting a band out there (to sing a song from flash dance of all things) when they are just singing to a backing track.

    I cant wait until the finals end up on channel 7 so we are not subjected to the "Australian Idols" who think it is necessary to extend every note as an expression of artistic licence.

    Was it last year that they had Kath and Kim prancing around with some very suspicious dancing footballers (who looked very happy if you get my drift) ..... If the AFL really want lame then do us all a service and bring back the Bat-mobile.

    yawn..... the lame old "gone with the wind" on the other channel is better than the GF 'entertainment"..... time to go back outside and work in the garden while listening to the Coulda'beens on ABC Radio

    Because it was the intro for the new CUB ads that are premiering during the telecast. First one was just a moment ago. As usual the AFL and Ten network forsaking artistic display for extra dollars in revenue.

    Ok I see now ..... I saw the ad earlier in the week and thought it was slightly amussing ..... didn't put two and two together to work out that the final was linked to the ad ..... I just thought it was another poor effort by the AFL ..... auctually it was!

    What a day of options:
    Gone with the wind, about as exciting as last nights pizza
    Some movie about a redneck travelling across the USA on a ride on mower because he doesn't have a licence (could that happen here?)
