    Default Are they responsible

    Hei Guys,
I work in an office building in the Perth CBD, and yesterday I managed to trash some clothes because a workman was repairing a wall with fibreglass and did not have any warning signs, placards or barriers - it was also 7am and still more dark than light.

Given the lack of warning signs or barriers, do I have any recourse against the workman - my office allows casual wear but I'm still up for $120.
    Cheers
    Paul

When in NZ I got a new suit out of the company who painted the crosswalk button pole and didn't put signs up. I press the button and got yellow paint all over the arm of my suit.

    Yep

send them a polite letter with a reciept for repair or replacement, be reasonable, and ask for re-imbursement.

Draft a second and third at the same time. Second is stating that you will consider legal action and the third is they have seven days in which to comply or the matter will be listed before the small claims court.

I wouldnt bother going to court as its not worth the hassle IMO however they may pay up before hand.

    goood luck
