polishing plaster
When we were on holidays last summer we visited "Barwon park" near Winchelsea in Victoria. A feature of the staircase was polished pillars that looked similar to marble. In fact they are actually lime plaster that has been polished. Do any of the experienced hands here know what technique was used to do this?

Tote
