Self-Checkout
I love the self-checkout aisle at my super market. The only problem
comes when I leave an item on the scanner too long and the robo-voice
scolds, "Please move your whole milk (or whatever) to the bagging area."
Ordinarily, I just ignore it. But on my last shopping trip, I moved
fast when the voice began shouting, "Please move your pork butt."Androgens Order
Forgive your enemies, but never, ever forget their names.
The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naïve forgive and forget; the wise forgive but never forget.

I get confused when the checkout chick asks me to
lift up the self raising flour.Life is short ... smile while you still have teeth.

When the self-serve checkout says "please take your receipt", the receipt is still being printed. But the machine said to take it so I grab it and pull it out and get about a metre of it. The checkout supervisor has told me I need to wait until it has finished printing, but I just tell them they need to reprogram the computer to not tell me to take it until it has finished printing if they don't want people doing that. Stupid machines.
Cheers
DougI got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

One of the local supermarket chains had their machines programmed so they would NOT print a receipt until after you had removed your items from the out side, which just used to stuff things up as nearly everyone who wanted a receipt kept waiting with their parcel/s on the scale until the receipt printed - I hope they learnt as the machines have now started printing the receipt when you push the 'yes' button, and its not considered a 'fault' to be fixed sometime......
