2.3m high ceilings - how bad?
Owner builder here just made a blunder. Have started cutting studs and realised with all the insulation, plasterboard and flooring I plan to put in my ceiling height will be be 2.3m rather than 2.4m as intended. This is in the open plan living / dining / kitchen area which is about 7m x 9m in size. I was thinking that 2.4m was already a little low for my liking but was trying to go with it to keep costs down.
Do you think the 100mm lower ceiling will be noticeable? Would you start over??
I'm 6'4" so I'm pretty tall as it is.
I guess I've cut about 180 meters (~$800 worth) of studs already at this wrong height.
