Default WOODWORKING QUIZ for 5 Dec 04

    Good Morning Friends,
Make your mark. A line here , a letter there, and projects go together more smoothly than ever.

What in the world am I talking about?

Sounds like preparing a detailed drawing of the project, before you muck up the whole show big time by cutting something too short. (Usually an expensive piece of rare timber.)

My guess is that you're indexing the pieces of timber as you prepare them for assembly.

    Good Evening Friends,
    Running late.
Duckman, you are correct as well as the other gentleman. the reason for marking in the boards with chalk or crayon is to identify them in their respective locations in the piece.
    Thank you for your support.

    Respectfully,
