    Good Evening Friends,
    You are in charge of building a 7 story building and the RM on a Bm is 1035' above sea level.Now based on a 10' distance per story.

    what would be the elevation on the top of the building when completed?

    Good Evening Bob,
    The two initials RM and BM mean the following;
    RM Reference Mark and the BM means Bench Mark. These are marks that are installed on a landmark that would normally not be move and a good base to the marks to be installed.

    The answer to this quiz is 1105' above sea level. If the BM is set at 1035 and you add the seven floors to that @ 10' per floor it will be 1105'.
