Sealing tiles in shower
Hi all, do all tiles in a bathroom need to be sealed or is it just the shower that needs taking care of?

Waterproofing goes under the tiles. The standard or manufacturer's guides will explain the requirements. Depends somewhat as to the base of the shower, whether tiled or a tray or a solid base, as to what is expected to be waterproofed

Dont believe there is any requirement for tiles to be sealed anywhere, it is just something people do to assist keeping them and the grout clean.
Grout is not waterproof, that is why there is a waterproof membrane to protect from the water that gets under the tiles. There are companies that advertise services to seal tiles and grout but is only a band-aid solution. if the waterproof membrane is intact, and water stops and puddle flanges installed correctly water under tiles should not be an issue.
