Guess what timber this is #2

This time I have photos of 2 different types of wood.

The second is a type of burl.

Guess what timber it is.

Clues will follow.

Photos should be acceptable.

5th photo is a closeup of the burl

Start guessing everybody.

The burl is most definitely "misplaced timber."

It belongs in my shed. Really! :cool:

cedar??? got no idea about the burl, tho it looks familiar

And no neither of them are in the cedar family.

right, I got a guess by PM--bubinga. So here is the next clue.

They are both Australian species. One is a Western australian species, and one is a Queenslander. So this time you Smart Queenslanders, you aint got no excuse(ave they Mr. Dingo:cool::).

We have one guessed correctly by Wild Dingo.
The burl is Banksia Burl.

We have one more block of timber left.

And the next clue is.

It is in the Silky oak family.

If you can see the photos properly, you will see it has a silky oak like grain.

ok, next clue.

I cannot think of good clues, so here is a give away.

It is in the Plain-tree family

That clue is for the wood in the first 2 pictures. the last 3, has allready been guessed.
