All the dates are mixed up .
A suggestion with Gabriel's excellent suggestion about a date change.
How does Monday 5th of February at Box Hill RSL suit everyone?
Considering the last Monday in January is Dave's GTG in Dooen which some of us are visiting.

Also ,it would be great to see some new faces this year.

While I can say that it sounds ok in theory, I cannot make a commitment to it as I have to consider personal and family circumstances which can change at short notice. Nothing unusual about that from my perspective of course.

Are you meaning to make it a permanent change from last Monday to first Monday or is this a one-off? Either way I will make it when I can.

Jools' mum has an important medical appointment that day and is unable to travel to it without assistance, so its back up the Hume Highway.

At this stage it's a maybe, and if so only for an hour or so, as I have a very early start on Tuesday morning for an induction session at the Austin hospital as part of a prostate cancer related trial that I'm taking part in.

PS Has everybody got their prostate checked lately as early detection is much better than what I've had to endure for the last 10 years since I've had this cancer.

I think the main reason it has followed on is because that way all who have posted to the thread in the past will get an email notification that the thread has a new post for the new month. Some people who only attend occasionally might not reply every month so posting to the end of the previous month's GTG thread might not get the message out to everyone.
