I talked about the mallets I made for my Veterans' group and the provenance of the timber used.
I mentioned that they were loosely based on a Paul Sellers design. Here's a link to the first of the three videos on how he makes them. I scaled mine down somewhat because I used heavy timber so I didn't need the size he did.

Todays topic about jigs was largely stuck to once we agreed that a jig could also be a template :)
I showed of a draw slide spacing jigs i printed up specifically for the 5 draw cabinets under the new bench, all draw spacing is set in 100mm units.
These provide an easy way clamp the slide in place as well.
Consider the benchtop as the vertical side of the cabinet

The white ones were designed based on the Goliath slides from Bunnings that are 45.4 wide, the bulk lot i got from ebay are just a little narrower at 43.6 so new set is being printed:)
Speaking of the cheaper versions... I ended up paying @11 per pair, they seem just as smooth as the Bunnings ones, have the number and style of ball bearings but definitely had a slightly oily feel when unwrapped so may be slightly better lubed.
Due to the "free" shipping the seller has shipped in multiple deliveries, so i got 10 pairs today with 10 pairs to come and no screws yet so before i link a source lets see how it pans out. they did message that they would be doing that.
