It's easy to recognise all the local species in your area. Especially when there's only a handful of 'em. ;)

All they would need to do is go to the nipperoos website and look at the pics of his turned peices first one up is a MARRI one the timber looks sorta maybe a little kinda like those blurry ones the gnome like one posted! ;)

I actually picked up a but of Marri in the shed tonight while I was out looking for something hard for Slow6 in our box swap, it wasn't spalted.
Only 30% of Marri has that spalting in it, that is the only reason you were able to find a piece in Queensland:D:D
