:yikes: Cor, I winced in pain as I read what happened. Thankfully that strap got caught up or we could have been reading about something much worse.
 to a speedy and full recovery. :console:
:oo::o OOWWWW I just saw this now, finger tips have lots of nerve endings, makes em a bit tingly when just one gets mashed but 4 in the one go :upset:
Watching out for the Gorrilla they call that in OHS speak, the unseen things that can get ya
Hope all fingers come right and not too many dramas Bob

:wts: Blooming hell Bob. That has got to hurt, (understatement of the obvious). Car doors are bad ehough. Get well soon mate.
What is going on lately, a spat of injured forumites. Stay safe fellas.
Cheers
Pops (still cringing)
Cheers Guys.
I'm back in Oz and was looking forward to getting back into the shed but will have to lay low for about 6 weeks.
Laying low for me means not running my chainsaw mills and moving large slabs of timber around. I'll have to keep some sort of finger covers or gloves over my left hand so that rules out most power tools but it won't stop small scale shed activities with hand tools. I visited Lee Valley just before I left and picked a 3 news toys.
The docs did make it quite clear that I was not to drive or operate any machinery.Quote:
Plans lots of plan time Bob, dam morphine/Oxycotine bet they didn't tell you no driving operating machines etc either.
Hopefully you will still be able to play the piano when they heal. :2tsup:
These were the culprit doors.
This shows the 3 door straps 1 for the inner and 2 for the outer doors.

But the inner door was so high up I did not see its strap and only saw the straps for the outer door so I pulled down on the inner one of these.
X marks the ouch spot.

Good grief Bob, what a bummer.
Hope you filed a report.
These injuries can come back and haunt you.
