I should be able to make it, can talk about my new fuel injected wood working tool.
I’m hoping to be there,
An I still don’t own a chainsaw [emoji3064].
Cheers Matt.
Not one?

[Edited by BobL - can't have that nice new saw on its side can we?]
Thanks Bob
Sorry can't make it tomorrow. - have a mate coming around to help me break up some small Banksia logs.
Count me in
and I have 1.25 chainsaws that feature no internal combustion :)
Perhaps next week should be "show us your chainsaw" week!
Apologies not going to make it [emoji3064]
Cheers Matt.
Thanks Yvan for the tour.
Shows just what can be done even in a small space.
Cheers
Phil
Good tour Yvan. You will be making youtube videos soon.
Yes. Thanks Yvan
I got my wires crossed a little on the chain saws. The "Hard to start difficult to stall" reference was in fact to a chainsaw powered motorcycle.
Difficult to start - Hard to stall
This was the V8 chainsaw reference I had in mind: Starts with a Harley, then a V6 and then a V8.

And I think this may be the machine Bohdan was speaking about

In regards to Simon's question about timber milling, I used to do a little in a former life, but not quite so much nowadays. This thread may give a clue to my Forum name:

And some more recent activity...

From 2013! :(
It was a good chat today even if we do prattle on a bit.

Excellent tour Yvan. The camera on a tripod was a brilliant idea. It provided a very crisp image and made it easy to see what you were showing. Perhaps you should post some photos of your phone holding jig for us to copy!
Looks like I missed a good one,
Cheers Matt.
I've made a couple of mobile tripod cradles.
They were both made from a length of SHS Al drilled/cut and folded for a firm slip on fit of the mobile which has a soft rubber like case.
The tripod connection is a standard Manfrotto quick release plate (QRP) type.
I have multiple QRPs and leave one attached to each of my camera and a mobile cradle for quick swaps.
This was the first one

This is the second one, side mounting with provision for a recharge cable.
The tripod head is a sprung ball type so it quickly flips between landscape and portrait modes.
