Made a lot of progress with lining the shed with 16mm MDF panels, as well as building a partition between garage part and workshop, will post pics when finished.
Missed coming inside and having a peek at iSpy though!:D
Rebuilt a computer.
Cleaned up the workshop (well, work space).
Checked every 5 minutes just in case the forum was back...
Chainsaw Re-building 101.
Sorted out yesterday's purchases from the show and went OS for a forum fix:D :D
Working with Timber and Wood Show!
I thought about doing some woodwork, buts thats as far as it got. :U
I actually did some more on me website, maybe the forums should go down more often. :q
Al :)
Made some shelves.
Built and painted a cupboard.
Prepared doorways for frames.
Made some jambs and headers.
Driving lesson for the son.
Read a book!
i had a bad case of the sweats and shakes think i was going though withdrawals :( :C
Go into drastic withdrawral:((
Built a casment window, new ceiling, painted walls and am putting in a tiled floor. This is for my wife who wanted to have her craft room updated. Boy ! Am I getting some credits in here!!
Since it's been down, I've been talking to the wife, communicating with the kids, helping around the house, playing with the dogs, going for walks.....it's been hell. I'm glad it's over. :D
i actually done some home work...but unlike usual, there was no forums to look at every five minutes for when i got bored:D....so i thought i would see what all the fuss was about myspace;)
unfortunately no wood dust as the assignments ( 3 ) took longer ( and still are ) than expected...
cheers
Spent money at the WWW show!
Didn't spend enough though.......
wandered the house wearing a pathway back to the computer every third trip or so.... look at the laundry, oh I'll just check how to do that, Damm! still down!!!:(
The carpet was lucky that Peter turned up when he did and we had fun looking over my haul from the Wood Show.
Today I got colour on the laundry walls, built the sink support and cut the benchtop to size.:2tsup:
I didn't get near the workshop unfortunately. I spent most of today doing a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course so that I can work behind the bar (in a voluntary capacity) at my local surf club.
Yesterday, installed a dryer on the laundry wall, today bummed around with MBGitW in the morning and a mate in the arvo.
Mirboo, what club are you with? I am with Bellambi in the Illawarra.
helped the war office with sewing:2tsup:
Last week I worked 95 hours. In the other off net times I have applied round up to the pesky regrowth in my backyard, oiled the bbq trolley, washed cars, cleaned and reorganised the shed, wired a mechanical switch into my grey water system so the missus can push a button and forget about it (which she normally does anyway!) ...... oh and I managed a few hours sleep.
Bought a house. bungalow style.
So now I have to oganise shifting my shed and downsizing
I'm going to have to get rid of a lot of timber and other stuff I have accumulated over the yr
:C:C:C
+1, Actually my current rebuild is a stihl 010!
I seemed to spend more time picking up chainsaw repair hints on the arboristsite.com forum.
Attended a Chainsaw Users course all day saturday. Didn't learn much - but made SWMBO slightly happier about me having 4 chainsaws in our small suburban back yard.
Well so much so, that I will have to do a chook shed clean - just so I have somewhere for the excess sawdust to go...
What's even better "the boy" has no excuse to be out of the house on Anzac day....
I plan to wake him early ... Lest he forget :U :U ....
(My apologies and thanks (you know why) to any Ex_servicemen on these forums)

wots the 18watter?
I made it clickable.
It is a valve amp made by Marshall that was so good that lots of people have copied it & made their own & then started modifying it to make it better.
SWMBO and I went driving to pick up some plants for the garden. (Summer is coming up over.)
Glued up a cabinet face frame in the arvo. (Dominoed, of course.)
Checked the site every few minutes and cursed. :D
[NB: I'm not certain SMC is ready for you, Cliff. :p ]
Took elderly mother to doctor for her monthly shots, got myself a cod-i-da-bose while in the waiting room for an hour - bleargh. I think I'll abuse some over the counter madication later & pretend the world doesn't exist for a while.
Uhh, in a really strange twist of fate...
I was talking to another forum member. :oo:
My local 'hardware store' here moved and re-opened on Thursday, and there happened to be a section of the tool department that has a certain orange hue to it. So I visited it again tonight. :2tsup:
After quickly going over the place end to end (and it's long drive, let alone walk) I felt like a kid in a candy store with $10 in his pocket.
If I only had the $10...:(
Chain-sawed some tree stumps into root ball turning blanks. Probably waited too long, cos spalting is almost punky after a year or two outdoors.
Prowled SMC. I'm not sure SMC is ready for either Cliff OR Bob.
"Cold in the nose," Martrix.

try saying cold-in-the-nose when your head feels like someone has squirted a couple of cartriges of goop up your nose.
Unfortunately drowsy-type anti-histamines wear off after 4 or so hours.
I went out and saved the world, being the superhero that I am!
Now the world can get stuffed the forum's back up :)
