do 2 x 25mm pipes flow the same as 1 x 50mm?

im after some mathemetician who can tell me if 2 x 25mm pipes flow the same as 1 x 50mm?
i want to run air through the pipes that needs to flow at about 5l/s and i know 50mm pipe does this with my exhaust fan but will 2 x 25mm pipes do the same thing or not? or do i need 4 of them 25mm pipes?
