G`Day fellow woodaholics
G`day fellow woodaholics,
Ed Wood here from WA.
Bought and operated a lucas mill about eight years ago, taught myself to use it and acquired about 50 or so cube of timber all salvaged from dead or cleared trees.
Sold the mill a year ago and finally following the dream of making dining tables.
Have a workshop with all the gear and just finished my second Jarrah dining table.
I am still only a relative novice but am quick to learn and have access to a wood working master at times to bounce off- although I believe you only learn by doing!!

You have the right idea, the best way to learn is definatly by doing, a bit of watching and listening is good but there is no substitute for doing. Enjoy the forum Ed
