Should I tell him?

I had just finished making a meatloaf for my dog. It contains minced lamb grated carrot and pumpkin eggs and Eukanubra (this is a dry palletised science diet dog food).

Any how the daughters boyfriend came in, he is a big bloke and he love his food. He proceeded to cut up the meat loaf and make himself a sandwich, said it was the best meat loaf he had ever tasted.

Should I tell him it was for the dog and had dog food in it? :?

I reckon you should wait. One of two things will happen:

1 - they will break up. Then you can tell the story to your daughter and she'll get over him a bit quicker (she can call him dog boy, or rover, etc)

or

2 - they won't break up. After they're married and you're all comfortable with the relationship, you can tell him at a family dinner and everyone will have a good laugh.

Best to keep it up your sleeve, IMHO.

while staying at my aunts my dad had done a stint at the local club working came home late hungry opened the fridge to find what he thought a stew.

Aunt went balistic next morning asked all who'd ate the dogs food being a Wallaby & Roo stew, when dad awoke she fired at him also when told what it was he bolted to the outside dunny and dispersed of it.

You should have taken him over to show him the ungredients after he finished.
But that's a fair nerve, helping yourself to to a sanga of whatever you see at your prospective in laws.

Keep an eye on him, as he may start cocking his leg near the fridge any day now. :D

Nah. Just have hime come over and make the next one and the tell him to feed the dog.

By the way, have a video camera at hand......it could be worth something.
