Cable truss - Sheet roof

G'day, I am in the planning stage of removing a load bearing wall, don't worry I will get professional advice as I get closer, this is just for the design factor, i.e cable truss or support beam.
I have read cable trusses are not suitable for sheet roofs, according to pryda...because of the uplift...is there any alternative for sheet roofing?
