Anyone know whether Tea Lady is safe from the fire?

She is safe, but has had to evacuate. Heard from a mutual acquaintance.

I wish we could send you guys some of our cool weather and rain.

I'm old enough to say that I've never seen it so dry for so long. Where not getting the regular cold fronts from the south west that used to bring rain much any more, even in winter. There's a strange feel about it all.
