Dog and New Deck

Hi All, we are in the process of finishing off our new deck (Ironbark) which is very exciting. We are planning to wait 4-6 weeks before finishing in Feast and Watson Decking Oil.

My question is this.

We have a dog, and Dog's do what Dog's do but I can only imagine it would be really bad if he was to either pee or poo on the deck before the boards are oiled. To wait 4-6 weeks before oiling would make living with said Dog rather awkaward.

Does anybody have any opinions or experiences of this kind of situation?
