G/Day Mates new to guitar building

Hi everyone,:)

I'm just starting out learning to make my own electric guitars and thought this would be a great place to learn some valuable woodworking skills and eventually pass some info on to others.
I’ve been working on my first build for the last 3 weeks and have all ready brought a router, drill press, orbital sander and jig saw. Its coming along good for my first one but and having trouble carving the bodie using a spokeshave any tips on using one would be great.

Any way would love to here from others on guitar building and general wood working techniques.

I'm with what that "bloke" Artme said, but still haven't figured out how to make one on the lathe!!:doh:
