shower fixtures - shower rail, rainshower or both?

We need to buy our mixers and shower taps now, and I am trying to decide what to use in our shower. It is 850mm by 1500mm (the width of of the room). If I put a shower rail at one end (I'm thinking of a Satinjet), should I also put in a rain shower at the other end (like a Novelli Mondo or Flexispay Stilo), with a mixer tap/diverter in the middle? Or is that overkill, and is the shower rail enough? Can anyone recommend a rail, mixer and/or rain shower they are happy with? Thanks,...
