Best fix for this gutter?

Hi,

After a decent bit of a downpour in Perth last night, I was made to understand one statement made by the building inspector who looked at this house that we bought.
To start, I have no idea how that bit of the roof (Can someone give me the proper names for them? Mental block has hit me!) got bowed in like that, I never actually got around to asking the agent.

Anyway. With it like that, the water pools up. With a heavy shower, the water really pours over that spot. What's worse is that it doesn't come over the lip that's sticking out, instead it goes back into the roof, and comes out through that buckled area.
Wouldn't be such a big worry if this bit of gutter was over a garden bed/lawn. But since it's over a bricked area, which happens to be right next to the door of the extension, the extension with the base of the sliding door which is just a little bit below the bricks outside, I'm a bit worried. The water last night almost reached that little area outside the door, but thankfully didn't. On closer inspection, it kindof looks like there's a patch of water damage to some of the floor in the extension.

There's a couple of things I can see being done.
1. Remove & replace that bit of guttering and fascia.
2. Install a downpipe at that spot & run it over to the nearest one (There's one just out of sight in photo 2, which runs onto the lawn)
3. Other

All suggestions welcome. At the moment I'm more after an affordable fix, until I can save up a decent amount to consider getting a tradie in (If, of course, I can't fix it up properly myself).
