I have lined my studio/shed with plaster board and was going to just paint all the interior with the exterior paint I have. Is that OK over new plaster board, or does it need to be undercoated? The exterior paint reckons it is primer and undercoat in one. Is that just on wood?
that'll be ok on plasterboard except some of the exterior finishes might take a week or so to lose their slight tackiness
Why? Its only Sola guard acrilic paint or something. Is it meant for wood and works differently on plaster board?
The only difference I can discern between ex and interior is their ability to last in weather..probably a bit more zinc in the former.
I would have thought that if an exterior paint stayed tacky for a week you would have trouble if it rained. Maybe you had a bad batch of paint once Bob.
Solargaurd dries quick but retains a very slight tack for about a week.

solarguard will be fine and needs no sealer or undercoat the only drawback is its expensive so there's proberly cheaper options :rolleyes:
Well, I've already got the paint for the outside bits, so I just thought I'd use what I've got. It was a miss tint special, so pretty cheap. (Like $8 for 4 liters.:D)
