I'm planning to install an ECO SAC bladder tank under the house.
The distance between the stumps (piers) is about 1560 mm.
There is a metal frame, so I assume the ESK 1550 will fit as, according to
the brochure, it is 1500 mm wide.
Has anyone installed one of these tanks?
If so, is the full width, ie. including the metal frame = 1500 mm or is
the 1500 mm the width of the sack not including the frame?
Any assistance will be appreciated.
Dunno mate, a builder i work for sometimes installs them himself, good 'cause they seem a pain in the ????, mate youd be better of calling the supplier or the manufacturer.

However, their web site mentions having the installion done by professional installers.
As I'm an engineer, I have the technical knowledge re levels, etc. so I don't see why I can't do it myself.
Mate it isnt too complicated, you have a frame, a bladder and a pump. Obviously you have to put the stormwater into it and run an overflow, aswell as fit the pump and whatever pipework to whatever hose tap you want. A lot of the builders here do their own stormwater as its governed by local council, suss out your local council but besides that the only real drama you will come across is if you decided to run the toilets or washing machine off it, then you will need a plumber.
I have no concerns about doing the job, I just need to know the full width in order to be sure that it will fit between the stumps.
Their web site states 1500 mm but does not indicate if that includes the frame.
I assume it is, but want to be sure since I only have a 60 mm margin..
As said check with supplier, but they come in 54 sizes in any case - such as 1.3m which should fit comfortably between 1.5 piers.
As you no doubt already know all widths can have similar capacities - just different lengths to get the volumes needed so rather than trying to squeeze in around the piers better to go narrower and longer. Of course if you have space limitations the other way then you might need to fit as tightly as you suggest.

Good idea though and they work well - easy to install by any competent person such as you seem to be, but the installation instructions are clear that they should be put in by professionals: "To validate the Warranty and ensure correct operation, the system must be installed by a licenced plumber or an accredited installer in accordance with the installation instructions. Please refer to the Warranty document in the Home Owner’s envelope."
So might be a warranty fight if something went wrong as you did it yourself.

I had down loaded that .pdf.
My issue is that I'm limited in both width & length. Therefore, in order to maximise the capacity, I need to know whether the 1.5 m one will really fit between 1.56 m stumps.
I assume it will, but need to be sure before I order.
