The blue ribbon

An anonomous woodie from Munruben owned a dog who snored badly. Eventually, his wife took old Blue to the vet who suggested an old trick - tie a ribbon around Blue's testicles at night.

The woodie's wife didn't mention the ribbon trick to our lad who went out with his woodie mates to a club Christmas party and consumed a large number of fizzy drinks and arrived home late with the wobbly boot on and fell into bed. He didn't notice the red ribbon tied around Blue's testicles.

He is lying on his back, snoring like a champion and his wife thinks, "If it worked on old Blue, it might work on her woodie husband," so she searched around in her sewing gear and found a piece of blue ribbon and duly tied it around his family jewels.

Our woodie wakes up a while later and wanders off to the toilet and notices the ribbons he and Blue are wearing ribbons and says, "Blue old fella, I don't remember where we went last night but we won first and second prizes."
